Serving on a committee is a great way to get involved in the MMA. There are nine MMA committees:

Accreditation and Continuing Medical Education
Administration and Finance
Communications
Ethics and Medical/Legal Affairs
Legislation
Medical Practice and Planning
Minority and Cross-Cultural Affairs
Nominating and Leadership Development Committee
Public Health and Preventive Medicine
Quality Health Care

Occasionally ad hoc committees are formed to address specific issues. These task forces are currently active:

Veterans Health Task Force
