Tavern plays not exempt from Freedom to Breathe Act
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has determined that “theater nights” held in bars do not fall within the theatrical production exemption of the Freedom to Breathe Act.
MMA supports MDH's decision
The MMA has issued a statement in support of the Minnesota Department of Health's determination that taverns may not put on "smoking plays" to sidestep the Freedom to Breathe Act.
