The Minnesota Medical Association has endorsed Clary Document Management as its preferred provider of medical records management. Through discounted rates, MMA members and their practices are now able to:

• convert paper-based medical records to an electronic format using Clary’s EMR “scan on demand” conversion service
• store and manage for the long term paper-based patient charts
• process Release of Information (ROI) using Clary’s HIM staff

Clary’s HIM staff manages all aspects of paper medical charts; they become an “extension” of the healthcare provider’s chartroom.

Clary has developed a program whereby all inactive patient charts are physically removed from the clinic site and stored at Clary’s secure facility. Charts are scanned only as needed—a process known as “scan on demand”.

By removing and storing paper medical records off-site at Clary’s secure storage facility valuable clinic space is regained, requested charts are converted to an electronic format and delivered back to the healthcare provider in a matter of hours.

Additionally, Clary processes all Release of Information (ROI) requests made on the records stored at Clary, as well as requests made for records stored electronically at a clinic or hospital.

For clinics that are closing or physicians that are retiring, Clary offers a custodial service whereby paper charts are stored and managed by Clary for as long as needed.
