MINNEAPOLIS, October 23, 2008—Once again the MMA is partnering with the Wisconsin Medical Society to bring you the 2009 updates.

This year though, the updates will be offered in a series of four lunch and learn teleconferences. This format enable all the coders in your office to hear the changes for one low price.

There are over 50 changes to E&M codes, over 100 new and revised surgery section codes, and the medicine section and Category II codes are also heavily impacted.

This series of four lunch-and-learn teleconferences will provide the information you need to prepare for the 2009 CPT coding changes.

Each teleconference will focus on a specific area of change:

December 2: E/M, 12-1:15 pm

December 4: Surgery, 12-1:15 pm
Program Code: 5731

December 9: Medicine, 12-1:15 pm
Program Code: 5732

December 11: Category II and Wrap-up, 12-1:15 pm
Program Code: 5733

Dial in for one or all four and enable all of the coders in your office to hear the changes. Cost will be $99 per line — you can have as many people on a line as you wish. Call-in number and materials will be sent in the week preceding the teleconference.

No refunds will be given after number and materials are given.
