MINNEAPOLIS, April 25, 2008—Stratis Health is holding an informational conference call to accelerate the adoption and implementation of electronic health records (EHR) to improve patient care by providing incentive payments to small and mid-sized adult primary care physician practices.

The call will be held next next Wednesday, April 23, and also the Wednesay following, April 30, both at 12:30 p.m.

Minnesota is one of the states eligible to apply for this project. CMS will select four states this year and eight states next year. CMS would like a total of 200 small practices (practices of 20 or fewer physicians) involved in each state, 100 to be participants and 100 to be a control group.
