MINNEAPOLIS, July 24, 2008—The Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) will hold a Webinar on depression care management to help educate primary care and behavioral health groups on best management practices and their implementation and potentially qualify for rewards from BHCAG’s Bridges to Excellence Program.

The webinar will be broadcast twice:

August 12, 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. and repeated
September 25, 7:30 – 9:00 a.m.

The webinar will:

• Describe the Bridges to Excellence Pay for Performance program for depression care management
• Review the ICSI evidence-based guideline on depression management in primary care, and treatment options that support the guideline
• Describe a proven collaborative care model for depression management, plus the studies supporting this approach and the infrastructure to deliver it
• Review the work flow process, tools, scripts, charts and forms developed by ICSI to help medical groups implement a collaborative care model as well as the steps required for submitting data to MN Community Measurement.
