Top Stories | August 13, 2009 About 40 physicians and clinic administrators met Wednesday night to provide the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) with feedback about a proposal for a statewide system for measuring and publicly reporting on the quality of health care. Providers will be required to start reporting data about patients with diabetes and cardiovascular disease starting January 1, 2010. Physicians can earn two free CME credits for attending seminars about health care reform, electronic medical records, and coming statewide quality measures at the MMA’s 2009 Annual Meeting September 16-18 at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester. The Minnesota Department of Health has updated the notice that physicians must provide patients regarding their rights to access medical records.
