MINNEAPOLIS, October 1, 2008 - Please keep an eye out for dues notices, which the MMA started mailing this week. Paying your dues now, instead of waiting until the Jan 31 deadline, keeps the MMA working on your behalf.

Because of dues, the MMA is able to do collectively what none of us can do alone: provide a critical role in today's health care environment through advocacy at the Legislature, with local governments, regulatory agencies and health plans.

Nearly 11,000 physicians lend their voice to the MMA because they know it will evoke real change in the health care system. With sweeping health care changes on the horizon, we need your support.

The dues deadline for 2009 membership is Jan. 31 (Jan. 15 for Multi-Year Membership Plan members).
