MINNEAPOLIS, August 20, 2008—MEDPAC, the political arm of the MMA, is seeking new board members. Six members are leaving the board, so six new members are being sought.

Qualifications for MEDPAC board members:

• You must be an MMA member
• You must be a MEDPAC member
• You should enjoy the cut and thrust of politics, issues, and campaigns

Two board members are required by charter from each congressional district.  The board is especially eager for board members from:

• the 3rd District (western metro suburbs)
• the 6th District (most or all of Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, Wright, Anoka, and Washington counties, including St. Cloud)
• the 8th District (northeastern Minnesota, including Duluth and the Iron Range)
