MMAA silent auction to be called "Market Square"

MINNEAPOLIS, July 15, 2008—The MMA Alliance will be holding a silent auction just prior to the MMA inaugural dinner Thursday evening, September 17. The silent auction is going by the name “Market Square.”

The proceeds of this auction will benefit the AMA Foundation, MMA Alliance Health Projects, and the MMA Foundation. The goal is  give back to the family of medicine in communities across Minnesota.

Care to donate an auction item? THE MMAA is looking for things like honey, garden items, fresh produce, handcrafted items, collectibles, jewelry, fishing items, pottery, art work, books etc. The auction is hoping to steer clear of “baskets” this year.

So if you have a particular hobby, or are adept at a craft, or know someone who is, consider donating an item. To donate, contact Harriet Hodgson, ZVMSA, Diane Gayes, EMMSA, or Linda Wiig, LSMSA.
