Now open: Certification Commission educational program

MINNEAPOLIS, January 10, 2008—Are you charged with getting your organization ready to certify your electonic medical records product? Are you looking for a resource to jump start that process?

You now have the opportunity to review the certification process, step by step, with the Certification Commission.

The Certification Commission has opened registration for its interactive, online seminar program. The multi-session program will be held February 19 to 21.

Designed to help organizations prepare for the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) certification, the program is for both new applicants and those recertifying. Its purpose is to help people understand the certification program, and to navigate the process more efficiently.

Following completion of this program, participants will be equipped to evaluate product readiness for testing, understand the application and inspection process, and be prepared to lead their team through certification. Using 2007 certification materials and applying lessons learned, the Commission’s certification program staff will walk participants through all aspects of the application and testing process.

Registration.
