MINNEAPOLIS, January 3, 2008—Health Volunteers Overseas is putting out a call this month for specialists to work in these key areas:

• An orthopaedic surgeon is needed for a one-month assignment in South Africa for April 2008.
• Hand surgeons are needed for two-week volunteer assignments in Peru during the summer and fall of 2008.
• Pediatricians are needed for three-week assignments in Malawi during the summer and fall of 2008. Both generalists and sub-specialists are being recruited.
