MINNEAPOLIS, November 30, 2007— Young physicians are invited to a social event on Friday, February 1st, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Campus Club on the U of M campus.

And the welcome mat is out for late arrivals -- no registration is necessary!

The event is the Mid-Winter Gathering of the MMA Young Physicians Section, for physicians under the age of 40, or within their first 8 years of practice.

The MMA is oganized into sections, which provide a way for MMA members to get together — according to what point they are at in their careers, and special aspects of their work.

Also included at the Mid-Winter Gathering will be a brief seminar on financial planning geared for young physicians, put on by Joel Greenwald, M.D., of Sterling Retirement Resources.

Hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.
