Democracy is great, but making it work requires solid information. When important issues arise, the MMA arms physicians with the information they need to contact lawmakers via email or the phone. 

You may also wish to contact your policy makers on an informal basis and volunteer to work on their campaigns and invite them to contact you if they have questions about health care issues.
