The Senate added the mental health parity bill Wednesday to the $700 billion economic bailout plan, which the House is expected to vote on this afternoon. The House is locked into a yes or no vote on the bailout, so if it passes, the mental health parity bill will also be sent to the President.
As Minnesota's smoke-free law reaches its one-year anniversary, its popularity puts it on par with some of the state's most beloved icons. A survey found 77 percent of Minnesotans support the Freedom to Breathe Act, with 41 percent indicating strong support.
