About 250 physician delegates from around the state gathered to consider about 40 resolutions during the MMA's 155th Annual Meeting held in St. Paul, September 17-19, 2008.
The main business of the MMA's annual meeting is to convene a House of Delegates that deliberates and votes on resolutions drafted by physicians. However, the meeting also includes awards, CME classes, vendors, and a chance to socialize and share time with fellow physicians.

The date for next year's meeting in Rochester has already been set. So mark your calendar for September 16-18, 2009. All members are encouraged to attend the meetings CME courses and events.
The meeting is also an opportunity for members to advocate for issues they care about. Contact your local medical society and learn about how you can shape MMA policy by becoming a delegate in 2009.
