Onscreen violence survey
Onscreen violence survey
Minnesota Medicine
would like to know what you think about violence in the movies and on television. Your answers to the following questions could be used in an article for the August issue of the magazine. (The editors will contact you before using your response.)
Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions:
What movie or television show has made an impact on you—either negatively or positively—because of the way it depicts violence?
What was it that made the violent scenes so powerful?
How did they make you feel?
Was the violence integral to the story? Do you think the story could have been told just as effectively without the explicit display of violence?
What concerns you about onscreen violence?
Can onscreen violence serve a positve purpose? How?
